This is the story of Terry who put his faith in the Legal system rather than deal out his own form of 'retribution' and found he bet on the wrong horse.

If you go to www.lawzone.co.uk an item written on 5 March '03 concerning the new incoming 'Legal Ombudsman' you will see what a load of crap she spouted off including how she was going to clean up the 'Office for the Supervision of Solicitors'. Well Terry's case lasted seven years before she took office and she has recently dealt with my complaint that took seven years with 'negligent and incompetent' solicitors and nothing has changed. So who benefits from this 'self appointed complaints body's' clean up? It most certainly wasn't the general public.

I received an inadequate service from A.E.Wyeth & Co. Solicitors of Dartford

NOW KNOWN AS "VIZARDS WYETH" RIVERBRIDGE HOUSE, CROSSWAYS

After complaining to the 'Office for the Supervision of Solicitors' regarding A.E.Wyeth's handling of my case they decided that their services were 'inadequate', which means that they were not adequate, were insufficient and not sufficiently able or competent to carry out my case.

1..... A.E.Wyeth & Co. delayed in obtaining expert evidence from the surveyor (this actually took them nearly seven years to obtain a draft report, which any normal person would obtain in 4 to 8 weeks).

2..... They delayed in arranging a final hearing date (the fact is in seven years, which is one year longer than the second world war lasted, they never managed to obtain a court date to have the case heard in court).

3..... They failed to consider and advise me about the cost implications of the defendants obtaining legal aid.

4..... They failed to keep me informed of the progress of the matter or to give me proper reasons for the delay in obtaining the court hearing dates.

5..... They failed to provide me with a 'Client Care' letter at the outset of the matter and....

6..... They failed to deal with these complaints adequately pursuant to their obligations under 'Solicitors practice rule 15'.

A.E.Wyeth & Co. have never apologised or offered me compensation for the financial losses that I have incurred and will incur in the future due to their 'inadequate and very slow service', and trying to negotiate with them is met only with contempt.
