It appears Dickie told Aman Virk Manager,Quality & Service Standards of the OSS, the reason he collected my personal information was so he could discuss "Law Society business" so as to "address" with me an "issue" that I had "raised". The "issue" he "raised" on the 'phone concerned parts of this 'website' that were personally directed at him, so why did he ignore Law Society's rules concerning the collection, purpose and use of data? From this website he had direct e-mail contact with me plus he had my address so why did he violate the rules? 2. Solicitors From Hell

Click Here to see a letter I wrote to Aman Virk, Manager, Quality & Service Standards, at the CCS concerning her opinion that information from clients/complainants un-opened, opened or closed files can be passed freely around the Law Society by 'unsecured' means for any 'unrelated' purposes to what they are intended for (I wonder if she has read the Law Society's 'Data Protection Notice'. 4. 7 May '04 I received a letter from the OSS, from no less than the 'Manager, Quality & Service Standards' Aman Virk and it appears she can give out data from Complainants' complaints files to anyone who 'phones her up saying they are a member of the Law Society. What Aman Virk states is that data in Complainants' complaint files is "Law Society business" and as long as this information is not "passing outside of the Law Society" it can be taken from complaint files and given to any unsecured source, but when the subject of that data uses the correct procedures to collect data from their files the OSS tell you the files are not of "sufficient sophistication to provide the same or similar ready accessibility as a computerised filling system" in short the only people who cannot retrieve information from their file is the Complainants'. These people could teach the 'Mafiosi' how to run 'Protection Rackets'. Read my reply to Aman Virk dated 15 May ,04.

20 May '04 regarding the letter above that I received from Aman Virk and my subsequent reply, I have also sent a letter to Lord 'Charlie' Falconer, The Lord Chancellor, on the subject of the OSS, in the form of Aman Virk, ignoring and bending the rules to protect a member of the Law Society, Richard 'Dickie' Hegarty, Chair of the Compliance Board, also of Hegarty & Co Solicitors I have also written to The Information Commissioner's Office.

23 June '04 I wrote to Aman Virk at the OSS, 'Whoops' sorry the CCS, as I have had no reply to my letter dated 15 May, her reply was dated 24 May she said it was 'incorrectly addressed' and I received it a month later on 24 June, 'Yeah right' my solicitors had the same trouble 'addressing letters'.

28 June '04 I received a letter from Harvinder Kang (Miss) "we have re-sent you another copy of Miss Virk's letter to your address on 22 June 2004. If you have not received Miss Virk's letter of the 24 May 2004', please contact me on 01926 823123, and I will be happy to provide you with another copy". Well we know what makes these people happy 'getting addresses wrong so they can write more letters' then again 'Dickie the Chair' couldn't be more happier than when he sympathetically 'phones "disgruntled complainants" at home during the evenings.

2 July '04 Aman Virk refuses to investigate my complaint against 'Dickie the Chair' so today I referred my complaint to the Legal Services Ombudsman.

This letter shows Aman Virk, 'Manager, Quality & Service Standards' at the 'Protection Society's Head Quarters' (CCS) ignored/altered/violated the rules in their normal process of an investigation, in this case to 'Protect' "Dickie the Chair" (Richard Hegarty of Hegarty & Co in Peterborough and Stamford). 5. Since my letter to you dated 7 May last I have received a letter from the OSS's Miss Aman Virk, Manager, Quality & Services Standards, copy enclosed.

If you go to; (this info is also on page 4 of my reply to Ms Virk) "http://www.solicitorsfromhell.com/news.htm#56" that was put on my website on 6/7 Nov '03 at the time 'Dickie' rang me you will see there is no doubt the reason(s) was because what I was saying about Hegarty & Co was in his opinion 'defamatory'. If he considered what I was saying was defamatory or libellous he would personally have to take me to the High Court and this would be solely a personal matter. So tell me how does Aman Virk make this out to be "Law Society business"?
...
You will no doubt notice that Aman Virk has "examined the papers, and made enquiries" and she clearly states "I can confirm that this Office did not provide your telephone number".
...
I also believe Aman Virk has failed to carry out a "detailed, unbiased investigation" which would have led to disciplinary action being taken against Richard Hegarty for violation of the Data Protection Notice and disciplinary action being taken against the third party who supplied my personal data to him.
...
Finally I have enclosed a copy of the letter I wrote to Mr John Squires Compliance Officer at The Information Commissioners Office on the subject of Aman Virk's letter which then between you, you can 'use a sledge hammer to crack an egg'.
