Re: A referral to the Parliamentary Ombudsman.

Thank you for your recent correspondence and acknowledgement from the Parliamentary Ombudsman's office.

I am enclosing recent correspondence that I have sent to the Legal Services Ombudsman, the reason being it is related to my previous referral to the Parliamentary Ombudsman. If you look at the letter that I wrote to the LSO 28 January 2005 highlighted green this relates directly to my referral to the Parliamentary Ombudsman (misuse of my complaints file by the Law Society and my ex-solicitors) and then look at the letter I received from the LSO dated 18 January 2005 page 3 highlighted green you will see she is saying in reference to the CCS "…your complaint concerning a possible contravention of the Data Protection Act was a matter which properly fell within their remit to investigate". If the LSO had ordered the OSS (as it was then) to investigate my complaint of misuse of my file in 2003 or carried it out herself, I would not be at this stage in having to make a referral to the Parliamentary Ombudsman.

I have taken the liberty of enclosing a letter I sent to Lord Falconer the Lord Chancellor dated 5th January 2004, this letter shows in detail how the Law Society along with the LSO's blessing violate the rules or just ignore them which the LSO is now saying fall "…within their remit to investigate". The Lord Chancellor talks about a 'Set of Enforceable Rules', tell me who is 'enforcing' them? He pointed me in the direction of the Information Commissioner but he is not applying the rules how they are written.

Let me make two quotes which I have made many times:

"When I go to a country, I do not look to see whether there are good laws, but whether those there are enforced, for good laws are everywhere".

Let me further add a statement attributed to Janet Paraskeva, the Law Society's Chief Executive:
Her advice for clients who believe they've had a rough deal? 'Be persistent,' she says. 'Remember it's your right to have your complaint investigated and you should pursue it because, hopefully, it can be mediated and conciliated to everyone's satisfaction.'
Yeah Right. If you look at the first paragraph of the enclosed letter I wrote to the OSS dated 28 June 2002 you will see I was driven to start a web page and if you look at www.solicitorsfromhell.com/news.htm it will be seen the site came into being on 3rd June 2003.

I have enclosed two files one for you to kindly refer to the Parliamentary Ombudsman to save it having to be copied and the second for your own records.
